Artist (Provincial Craftsman), born into a pottery family in 1979, a member of the Zisha Industry Association of Jiangsu Province. Nurtured in a pottery family and fond of making fun of clay, Qu has started his life in Zisha arts at a very young age. Qu was admitted to Zisha Arts Factory studying Zisha arts in 1997 and was student to his mother master artist Wu ShiJuan (She is the student of grand master artist He DaoHong). Qu’s works are clean with a rich taste of literati characters and feel of everyday life. His works are well received by teapot lovers.
