When does a woman's ovulation period begin?

In many cases, women would like to better understand their ovulation period so that they can more successfully take contraceptive measures or become pregnant. However, some women are confused about when ovulation occurs. So, when does a woman's ovulation period begin?

The ovulation period refers to the time when a woman is likely to become pregnant if she has sexual intercourse. When is the ovulation period? The time is different for different women. Normally, ovulation occurs in the middle of a menstrual cycle, about 14-16 days before the next menarche.

How to calculate ovulation

Most women's ovulation period will be on the ovulation day, that is, one day. Generally speaking, according to the time of the first five days and the last four days, women have 10 days in the ovulation period every month. It is easy for women to have sex with their lovers at this time to make them pregnant successfully.

The length of women's menstrual cycle and ovulation period are also different. For women with long menstrual cycles and short menstrual cycles, there are certain differences in the ovulation period before, after, and around. In addition, the ovulation period calculation for women with irregular menstruation is also different from that for women with normal menstrual periods.

Women with irregular menstruation cannot accurately calculate and identify the ovulation period after their menstruation. However, they can identify the ovulation period by using ovulation test strips or measuring body temperature during ovulation.

Ovulation test strips: Use ovulation test strips to test ovulation, starting around the tenth day after the end of the menstrual period. Use the test strips to test. During the test process, women should try to use urine samples at the same time every day to facilitate observation. Gradually, according to the ovulation test paper, it is found that there are two printed color detection lines that are equal to or darker than the contrast line, which means that LH reaches the highest value, and women ovulate within 24h-48h.

Ovulation temperature measurement: It is the body temperature measured by women after waking up every day without any exercise. Under normal circumstances, the body temperature during the ovulation period will show certain changes in the physiological cycle. During the ovulation period, the body temperature of women will rise from low to high. After ovulation, the body temperature will rise to about 0.3℃-0.5℃, which also indicates that ovulation has occurred.
