The effect of water treatment on fallopian tube adhesion

The effect of water treatment on fallopian tube adhesion

Some female patients have physical problems, especially some female patients have problems with fallopian tube blockage, which seriously affects the health of female patients. Therefore, once female patients have similar problems, they need to pay attention to consult a doctor in time for treatment. So what is the effect of the treatment of fallopian tube adhesion and water congestion?

The fallopian tubes are connected to the uterus and ovaries respectively. They can capture mature eggs discharged from the ovaries into the abdominal cavity, provide a channel for sperm and eggs to meet, and are also the best place for fertilized eggs to divide. Once the division of 6 to 8 cells is completed, the fallopian tubes will peristalsis rhythmically to send the fertilized eggs to the uterus for implantation and development. Therefore, it is not an exaggeration to call the fallopian tubes the "bridge of life." If the fallopian tubes are blocked, the above functions will be affected and lead to infertility.

Three types of fallopian tube blockage

In medicine, there are three situations depending on the degree of fallopian tube obstruction: the first is that the fallopian tube is obstructed, which can be treated by using laparoscopy to clear it. The second situation is that the fallopian tubes are blocked and the damage is less severe, but most of the fallopian tubes are normal. In this case, the fallopian tubes can be cleared through a combined hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. The third situation is that the fallopian tube is completely blocked and severely damaged. This situation is mostly caused by delayed treatment due to a long course of illness or fallopian tube tuberculosis infection. Because the fallopian tubes become scarred, contracted, and stiff, and their functions undergo irreversible changes, it is difficult to conceive naturally even if they are successfully unblocked.

Check: Four methods to determine the location of fallopian tube obstruction

Depending on the condition of fallopian tube obstruction, four methods are generally used for detection:

Fallopian tube cannulation: It is usually done three to seven days after the menstrual period ends. A cannulation head is used with a needle tube outside, which is used to pump water. There is also a pressure gauge on the needle tube. If the tube is blocked, the pressure will be relatively high. This is a basic test that is usually performed on patients who visit a doctor for the first time due to infertility.

Hysterosalpingography: Under B-ultrasound, iodized oil is injected inside. If the iodized oil accumulates in the pelvic cavity, it means there is adhesion. The shortcoming is that the location of the adhesion cannot be accurately determined.

Laparoscopy: A mirror is used to make a small incision below the navel to perform a blue water test. It can simultaneously examine and determine the pathological conditions of the pelvic cavity and fallopian tubes, and can also perform preliminary separation of adhesions. This is a relatively high-level examination.

Fallopian tube endoscope: A tiny lead-wire-like instrument is inserted from the vagina into the uterine cavity for examination, which has the functions of both examination and diagnosis. Due to the high technical requirements for doctors, most hospitals do not have this equipment except for a very small number of medical institutions with strong technical capabilities.

How effective is drug treatment for fallopian tube obstruction?

If a female patient has a blocked fallopian tube, she should take appropriate treatment measures in time to avoid the blockage of the fallopian tube threatening the health and safety of the female body, and avoid the disease from worsening and threatening the health of the female body.
