What should I do if endometritis is detected during ultrasound examination?

Some women may encounter endometritis during physical examinations or B-ultrasounds. At this time, most women will be worried, but in addition to worrying, you must learn about the treatment of endometritis so that your body can get better as soon as possible. Moreover, if a woman has this disease, it may affect the uterus and may become infertile in the future, so you must pay attention to it.

1. General treatment

Acute endometritis requires bed rest, preferably in a semi-recumbent position, to help limit inflammation and drain uterine secretions; hot compresses can be applied to the lower abdomen to promote absorption of inflammation and relieve pain; bowel movements should be maintained to reduce pelvic congestion and facilitate toxin excretion; excessive gynecological examinations should be avoided to prevent the spread of inflammation; physical cooling can be used in case of high fever;

2. Clear uterine cavity residues and other foreign matter

If endometritis occurs after delivery or abortion and there is suspected placental tissue residue, it should be removed immediately while using antibiotics, but it is better to gently protrude the residue in the uterine cavity.

Try not to perform curettage. Wait until the antibiotic dose reaches a certain level and the inflammation is under control before performing curettage to prevent the spread of inflammation. If there is active uterine bleeding, the uterine cavity can be cleaned with the use of large amounts of antibiotics.

3. Uterine dilation, drainage and estrogen therapy For chronic endometritis and senile endometritis, the cervical dilation method can be used in conjunction with treatment to facilitate the drainage of uterine secretions and eliminate the inducement.

Elderly patients can also use a small amount of estrogen and antibiotics as the main treatment. The corresponding antibiotics can be selected based on drug sensitivity tests. If the condition is serious, combination therapy should be used with reasonable compatibility.

Gynecological diseases are relatively common for women, but no matter what kind of gynecological disease it is, you must respond in time. Only timely conditioning can make your body better. Otherwise, it may cause other consequences. At that time, you will definitely feel very regretful, and this is not good for your body.
