What is vaginal discharge?

Vaginitis often occurs in women, mostly due to unclean sexual life or lack of cleanliness. Sometimes you feel itchy private parts and secretions discharge from the vagina, and you don’t know if you have a gynecological disease. In fact, sometimes if the underwear is not chosen correctly, it may also cause itching in the private parts. So what are the symptoms of vaginitis? Do different types of vaginitis have different manifestations? Let's take a look.

Because the symptoms of various female vaginitis are different, the treatment methods are also different. Moreover, doctors have to rely on various female vaginitis symptoms to make a diagnosis, and I hope everyone will pay attention to it. Symptoms of various female vaginitis are:

1. Symptoms of bacterial vaginitis in women: increased leucorrhea, which is grayish white, thin and foamy. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with scattered bleeding spots, itching and burning sensation in the vulva, and symptoms of vaginitis in women are accompanied by a foul odor in the vulva.

2. Non-specific symptoms of female vaginitis: a feeling of falling and burning in the vagina, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal discharge increases and becomes purulent, serous, and has a foul odor. Because the secretions irritate the urethral opening, symptoms of vaginitis in women can cause frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

3. Candidal vaginitis: The symptoms of this type of female vaginitis include vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea and a tofu-like appearance. Sometimes, female vaginitis symptoms are accompanied by frequent urination, urinary pain, and pain during sexual intercourse. During gynecological examination, white film-like substances can be seen attached to the inner side of the vulva and the vaginal mucosa.

4. Vaginitis in the elderly: The amount of leucorrhea increases, is yellow and watery. In severe cases, the symptoms of female vaginitis are purulent and have a foul odor. Sometimes the symptoms of female vaginitis may be bloody or accompanied by spotting. The vulva has itching or burning sensation, dryness and pain, and distension in the lower abdomen. When the urethra is affected, there are symptoms of female vaginitis such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

Therefore, to identify whether it is vaginitis, it is still necessary to observe the color of the leucorrhea, whether the amount of leucorrhea increases, and whether there is any odor, etc. If it is found that it is caused by vaginitis, then timely treatment is needed. It is necessary to use private area care liquid and pay attention to hygiene.
