The reason why I haven't had my period since giving birth

Many mothers often have problems of one kind or another, among which postpartum menstruation is a common problem. They are very afraid of this problem and are always worried about future fertility problems, so they are always anxious. Here we would like to remind all mothers that postpartum menstruation is likely to be related to massive bleeding and infection, and of course it is also related to long-term breastfeeding. The following is a detailed introduction.

Causes of postpartum amenorrhea:

Gynecologists say that the first menstrual period after childbirth is usually an anovulatory cycle or is caused by dysfunctional corpus luteum induction, and the ovaries are still not very sensitive to hormonal stimulation at this time. Therefore, various abnormal phenomena are very common, such as the continuous dripping of lochia after delivery, occasional irregular and repeated small amounts of bleeding, or bleeding similar to menstruation during the confinement period. The second situation: Postpartum amenorrhea is mainly seen in long-term breastfeeding and postpartum hemorrhage, infection caused by Han's syndrome; in addition, excessive prolactin in the body can also inhibit ovulation and form amenorrhea.

Postpartum amenorrhea symptoms:

1. Symptoms such as decreased libido, breast atrophy, loss of axillary and pubic hair, and infertility are mostly caused by insufficient secretion of gonadotropin.

2. Symptoms such as fatigue, anorexia, weight loss, and syncope are mostly caused by insufficient secretion of adrenocorticotropic hormone.

3. Symptoms such as chills, pale and dry skin, bradycardia, low blood pressure, slow reaction, drowsiness, dementia, and apathy are mostly caused by insufficient secretion of thyroid stimulating hormone.

4. Symptoms such as obesity, hirsutism or giant deformity, acromegaly, hypertension, rough skin, and polycythemia are mostly caused by pituitary tumors.

5. Symptoms such as infertility, hirsutism, and obesity are mostly caused by ovarian dysfunction.

Warm reminder: postpartum women must do relevant care, not only to eliminate stress factors, but also to arrange work and life reasonably, which can not only enhance nutrition but also correct underweight. If you are breastfeeding for too long, stop breastfeeding. Treat various chronic systemic diseases.
