TCM treatment of uterine prolapse

TCM treatment of uterine prolapse

Uterine prolapse is a relatively common disease affecting contemporary women. There are many treatments for this disease, but I still recommend that you use traditional Chinese medicine for treatment, because traditional Chinese medicine treatment treats the root cause, puts less burden on the body, and the treatment effect is also very good. So, let me introduce to you the traditional Chinese medicine treatment method for uterine prolapse. I hope everyone can always pay attention to their health to avoid getting seriously ill.

Uterine prolapse is called "yin prolapse" in traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the phenomenon that something falls down in a woman's vagina, or falls out of the vaginal opening. It is also called "yin prolapse", "yin bacteria" or "yin hemorrhoids". If it occurs after childbirth, it is also called "intestinal failure". Regarding the cause of this disease, it is believed to be related to Qi deficiency, so its treatment is generally based on the principle of "lifting the trapped", focusing on tonifying Qi and lifting it up. At the same time, it is more effective when combined with acupuncture and external treatments. Clinically, it is generally advocated to use Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang with modifications.

Traditional Chinese medicine experts have found in clinical practice that Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang cannot completely cure this symptom. Some patients feel uncomfortable after using it and cannot use it. This is because the disease is ever-changing, and using only one prescription to treat the condition will not be effective. Although uterine prolapse is related to the belt meridian, the belt meridian belongs to the spleen. As Tang Rongchuan said in "On Blood Syndromes", "the belt meridian is connected to the uterus, binds the human body in the middle, is located in the center of the body, and belongs to the spleen meridian." Therefore, Buzhong Yiqi Decoction is often effective for patients with uterine prolapse caused by spleen deficiency and sinking of qi in the middle. However, the liver and spleen have a close relationship. The liver stores blood and is responsible for the regulation of qi and blood, while the spleen regulates blood and is responsible for transportation and transformation. They are the source of qi and blood production and metabolism. The liver and spleen have a close physiological relationship. The rise and fall, transportation and transformation of the spleen and stomach depend on the regulation of liver qi. If the liver functions normally and the regulation is smooth, the rise and fall of the spleen and stomach will be appropriate and the transportation and transformation will be sound. If the liver's regulation is impaired, it will affect the rise and fall, transportation and transformation of the spleen and stomach, thus forming the symptoms of "liver-stomach disharmony" or "liver-spleen disharmony". Conversely, spleen disease can also affect the liver.

If the spleen is insufficient and the digestion and absorption functions are not healthy, the blood will have no source of production. If the spleen cannot regulate blood and blood loss is excessive, the liver will be affected, resulting in liver blood deficiency. If the spleen fails to function properly and water and dampness stagnate inside the body, they will accumulate over time and become heat, and damp heat will accumulate, then the liver and gallbladder will not be able to secrete blood properly, which may cause jaundice. It can be seen from this that liver disease is transmitted to the spleen, and spleen disease is transmitted to the liver, and the liver and spleen influence each other in terms of pathological changes.

Therefore, although uterine prolapse is closely related to the spleen, the spleen's pathological changes can be transmitted from the liver. Therefore, treating the spleen is ineffective and treating the liver should be considered. The use of Danggui Shaoyao San for uterine prolapse is derived from this. Guishaoyao Powder comes from "Jinkui Yaolue" and was originally used to treat "abdominal pain in pregnant women" and "various abdominal pains in women". It is a commonly used prescription in gynecology and is composed of six herbs: angelica, white peony root, Chuanxiong, Alisma, Poria, and Atractylodes. In the prescription, not only is peony used to nourish the liver, harmonize the circulation and relieve pain, but it is also used with angelica and chuanxiong to regulate the liver and blood, and Poria, Atractylodes and Alisma orientalis to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, together achieving the effects of nourishing blood, regulating the liver, strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness.

After the above introduction, I believe everyone has their own understanding of the Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment methods for uterine prolapse. The concepts used by traditional Chinese medicine in treating uterine prolapse are profound. Traditional Chinese medicine is our country's tradition and the essence that has been passed down. It should be preserved, and the treatment effect is very significant, so I recommend that you use traditional Chinese medicine to treat uterine prolapse.
