What is the reason for abdominal pain in four months of pregnancy?

Pregnancy is the most concerned thing for our female friends, and it is also one of the most important things in our female friends' lives. For this matter, female friends attach great importance to it. Any small situation will make female friends nervous and anxious. Now there is such a situation, that is, the lower abdomen hurts during pregnancy. Many mothers have encountered this problem. So what is this problem? Why does the lower abdomen hurt?

If your crampy abdominal pain is accompanied by spotting, bleeding, fever, chills, vaginal discharge, tenderness, and pain, or if the pain is not relieved after a few minutes of rest, it is recommended that you see a doctor in time. This principle applies not only to the third trimester. In fact, you should consult your doctor any time you have any of these symptoms throughout your pregnancy.

Crampy abdominal pain in pregnant women that could indicate risk of premature birth

You may experience: rupture of your membranes, or your water breaking; an increase in your vaginal discharge that becomes thin, bloody, or mucousy; pressure in your pelvis or lower abdomen; persistent, dull pain in your lower back; mild, crampy abdominal pain and/or diarrhea; and regular, often painless, uterine contractions or a tightening of your uterus.

Causes: Many factors can cause premature birth, including maternal illness and stress. However, the specific cause of miscarriage is often difficult to determine.

When it may occur: Anytime between 28 weeks and less than 37 weeks of pregnancy.

What you should do: Go to the nearest major hospital immediately. Your doctor may prescribe medication and/or bed rest. If the pregnancy is successfully preserved, the doctor will most likely let you rest in bed and may also let you use medication to stop uterine contractions until full term.

Crampy abdominal pain during labor

You may have: Cramping abdominal pain and persistent pain in the lower back.

Cause: Increased pressure on the pelvis and rectum.

When it may occur: Last few weeks of pregnancy

What you can do: The crampy abdominal pain you experience during labor is much milder than the contractions you'll experience during labor. Some pregnant women find that resting on the sofa for a while can relieve pain, while others like to move around and take a walk. When labor does come, it will be helpful if you can find ways to relax and relieve pain that work for you.

Our female friends must pay close attention during pregnancy and cannot be careless in the slightest, otherwise it will cause great trouble to our female friends. I have already told you the cause of the lower abdominal pain above, so pregnant female friends who have this lower abdominal pain should pay attention. This may be a sign of premature birth. I suggest that female friends go to the hospital for a check-up so that they can rest assured to take care of the fetus and not be troubled by these things.
