What to do with back pain after childbirth?

Generally, pregnant women will experience back pain after giving birth. At this time, the older generation will say that it may be because the pregnancy process was more difficult, but the reason is actually not that simple. If the pregnant woman is healthy during pregnancy, it will not cause too much pain. Back pain after giving birth may only be due to some minor problems in your body. If you don’t know it yourself, it may affect your body, so these are all things you must understand.

1. All-fours pelvic rocking exercise

Pelvic rocking exercises are very effective in relieving back pain. You can let your baby look at you while you exercise. Get on your knees and support yourself with your hands. Keep your back flat, contract your abdominal muscles, and arch your back like an angry cat. Keep your head and back level, then relax and return to center, trying not to let your back relax before you maintain a straight line.

You can enhance this movement in the lower back and strengthen your back muscles by doing the following exercises. Keeping your back flat and your head down, begin to straighten one leg, keeping it in line with your back, not too high, bend your knees and place them on the floor at the same time, returning your head to the center. Repeat 6-8 times, then repeat 6-8 times with the other foot.

2. Gentle leg shaking exercise

Back pain after childbirth usually occurs in the sacroiliac joints in the back, which are where the spine connects to the pelvis. The pain is felt on one side at the base of the spine and may radiate to the entire buttocks, with pain likely also felt in the leg. This exercise is very effective in relieving this type of pain, especially in the left sacroiliac joint; the opposite side exercise relieves pain in the right sacroiliac joint.

I believe that now you have a certain understanding of the causes of postpartum back pain. Then women who are going to give birth in the future or have already given birth will know how to regulate it. This is a very responsible behavior for your own body. Such rapid regulation can allow your body to recover quickly, which is very good for your children and your family.
