Why is there blood in the vaginal discharge after menstruation?

Many people find that there is a problem with their leucorrhea after their menstruation. At this time, I discovered that my leucorrhea was a symptom of blood. Some even have black blood streaks. This is enough to make the patient feel very panic in his heart. I am worried about what disease I have. So why does leucorrhea with blood occur after menstruation?

1. Physiological reasons

The first thing to consider is that the menstrual period is not completely drained. Some women will have a little more menstruation 1-2 days after the end of their period, commonly known as "menstrual blood coming back", which is a normal physiological phenomenon.

The second thing to consider is bloody vaginal discharge during ovulation. If a woman has bloody vaginal discharge in the middle of her menstrual cycle (i.e. during ovulation), it is most likely ovulation bleeding. The blood is mixed in the vaginal discharge, causing the bloody vaginal discharge. This is also a normal physiological condition and there is no need to worry too much.

(ii) Gynecological diseases

In addition, bloody vaginal discharge should also alert you to the possibility of gynecological diseases, such as cervical erosion, endometriosis, cervical polyps or uterine fibroids, which can cause varying degrees of bloody vaginal discharge.

Among them, cervical erosion is the most common gynecological disease. Cervical erosion does not have any special symptoms, so it is easily ignored by women. If you are not careful, it will develop into severe cervical erosion, causing great harm to the body. Generally speaking, the symptoms of cervical erosion include lower abdominal distension and pain, fatigue in the limbs, increased vaginal discharge, yellow or yellow-green vaginal discharge, bleeding after sexual intercourse, bloody vaginal discharge, etc.

Once the disease of bloody leucorrhea after menstruation is discovered, the patient should not eat raw, cold or irritating foods. It can be said that if the symptom of bloody leucorrhea appears at any time, you should go to the hospital for examination in time. If gynecological inflammation is confirmed, active treatment is needed.
