What causes low progesterone?

Low estrogen actually means low progesterone during pregnancy. Many pregnant women experience low estrogen levels during pregnancy. If women experience low progesterone levels after pregnancy, it is due to luteal insufficiency. This requires women to seek medical treatment in time to improve the luteal insufficiency and avoid serious adverse effects.

What causes low estrogen?

1. Imbalance between adrenaline and thyroid cysts. There are many young women who have serious imbalances in their thyroid gland and adrenaline function, which will cause ovarian dysfunction and affect their ovaries, causing certain effects and obstacles to pregnancy, and will also cause obstacles to ovulation, making the progesterone level relatively low and less. Secondly, some female friends experience this condition due to their unique physical constitution, which causes the body to develop insulin resistance, leading to low progesterone levels.

2. Luteal insufficiency. In addition, some women suffer from luteal insufficiency. Because once a woman's progesterone is incomplete, the luteal receptors of the uterus and ovaries will be underdeveloped, and the progesterone level will also decrease, and will be lower than that of normal female friends. Finally, if some female friends suffer some injuries when they are young, it is easy to cause ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, amenorrhea and infertility. Medically, the progesterone level in the bodies of such female friends is much lower than that of other people.

What to do if estrogen is low

1. Treatment in the hospital: The reason why many female friends have low progesterone during pregnancy is due to disease factors, among which endocrine and neurological dysfunction is the most common one. Therefore, it is necessary to go to a regular hospital in time for relevant examinations, identify the causes of the disease, and carry out symptomatic treatment in order to effectively achieve the goal of curing the disease.

2. Adjust the ingredients. Women can also adjust their progesterone levels through diet, and take in foods rich in lecithin and natural vitamin E. These ingredients in food can help women produce more progesterone levels. Eating some fruits rich in pectin and dietary fiber in moderation can also help us replenish progesterone levels. For example, kiwi, strawberry, or red grapefruit and other fruits can all help women replenish vitamin C and vitamin E in the body, which can make the progesterone level reach normal levels.
