Causes of postmenstrual bleeding

Causes of postmenstrual bleeding

Many women find it difficult to talk about menstruation, especially problems related to menstruation. Many girls know how to solve them. We all know that menstruation occurs after a woman's second development, which indicates that her sexual organs are beginning to mature. Menstruation has a certain regularity, basically once a month, for three to five days each time. Very few people will experience bleeding after menstruation, which makes many women very worried. So what is the cause of this situation?

After the mature follicle ruptures and ovulates, the estrogen level drops sharply and significantly, which cannot maintain the growth of the endometrium, causing local rupture and shedding of the endometrial surface, resulting in breakthrough bleeding. With the formation of the corpus luteum of the ovary, sufficient amounts of estrogen and progesterone are secreted to quickly repair the ruptured endometrial surface and stop the bleeding. Or it is possible that during ovulation, the mature follicles secrete more estrogen, causing endometrial congestion and leakage of red blood cells. It is also possible that when the egg is captured in the fallopian tube fimbria, the blood-containing follicular fluid is sent to the uterine cavity through retrograde peristalsis of the fallopian tube and then flows out of the cervix through the vagina.

"Ovulation bleeding" is only a small amount of brown secretion, which usually lasts for half a day or 2-3 days, and no more than 7 days at most. It may be accompanied by mild ovulation pain and back pain.

Second, functional uterine bleeding, which is usually manifested by irregular menstrual cycles, excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation or irregular bleeding.

Third, vaginal bleeding may occur after taking emergency contraceptive pills. Emergency contraceptive pills will affect the menstrual cycle, especially repeated use will cause menstrual disorders, bleeding, and continuous spotting.

Fourth, suffering from some gynecological organic diseases, such as uterine fibroids, ovarian diseases, etc., these conditions will cause irregular vaginal bleeding.

The above are the factors that cause postmenstrual bleeding. Therefore, when female friends experience such a situation, they must go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time to achieve early detection and early treatment to avoid delaying the disease and causing irreversible consequences. With the development of society, gynecological diseases in women are increasing year by year, so female friends should do a good job of their own care and hygiene in daily life and learn to relax, so as to prevent diseases.
