Why does my vagina itch when I sleep at night?

Why does my vagina itch when I sleep at night?

Some female patients experience vaginal itching when they sleep at night. At this time, female patients need to pay attention to this problem to avoid dangerous situations caused by the disease. In particular, they should pay attention to avoid worsening of the disease. So why does the vagina itch when you sleep at night? Let me introduce this issue to you below.

1. Vulvar itching: It is especially severe at night. The degree of itching is related to time, menstruation, climate, food, environment, and mood. Itching usually occurs intermittently, and patients often scratch due to the itching.

2. Local pain in the vulva: Due to scratching, there will be many scratches and redness and swelling on the vulva, so patients often have local burning pain, especially the clitoris and labia minora are very sensitive. The pain is worse at night.

3. Vulvar hyperkeratosis: Localized or diffuse white thickening of the vulvar skin and mucosa, which is leathery, raised, wrinkled, or scaly and eczematous. The skin color of the vulva is mostly purple-red, grayish white, or grayish blue, interspersed with clearly defined white keratotic patches of varying shapes and sizes.

4. The vulva becomes thickened and whitened: the clitoral hood is thickened, with obvious keratinization, the labia majora has coarse lines, hypopigmentation, and localized thickening and ulcers. The skin of the affected area is rough, lichenified, scratched, and sometimes cracked. There is local hypopigmentation, and the labia majora and labia minora generally turn white.

5. Mild atrophy: The vulva atrophies, and you will feel obvious discomfort and pain during sexual intercourse. There will be some difficulty in urination. In severe cases, the labia majora and minora will atrophy and adhesion, and the labia minora will partially or completely disappear, and then tighten together. The vaginal opening will become narrow and lose its elasticity.

Through the above content, I believe everyone can clearly see that vulvar itching cannot be completely determined to be vulvar leukoplakia, but a disease that must not be ignored is vulvar leukoplakia, and if it is not treated in time, the harm is very serious! Therefore, if you suffer from vulvar leukoplakia, you must treat it in time. The sooner you recover, the sooner you can enjoy a happy life.

The above is my opinion on this issue. If the patient has the above problems, then the patient needs to pay attention to avoid this problem causing the patient to suffer from gynecological diseases and put the patient's body in danger, especially pay attention to avoid the deterioration of the disease. Finally, I wish the patient a speedy recovery.
