Cervical hypertrophy and its treatment

Cervical hypertrophy and its treatment

Cervical hypertrophy is a problem that many of us are ashamed of. There are many reasons for this problem. Cervical hypertrophy makes many of our female friends dare not face their disease. Our female friends are very concerned about the topic of cervix. This problem seriously affects the quality of our sex life. So how can we better solve this problem? Let us learn about the treatment of cervical hypertrophy.

Treatment:

Diet therapy

Diet therapy is very good for the treatment of cervical hypertrophy. However, it does not mean that diet therapy can completely cure cervical hypertrophy, but it can play a role in regulating the body and controlling the disease. There are several types of dietary therapy:

1. Put 30 grams of new silkworm sand (wrapped in cloth) and 30 grams of Job's tears in a clay pot, add appropriate amount of water and boil it, once a day for 5 to 7 days.

2. Wrap 9 grams of lentil flowers and 12 grams of Chinese toon bark in gauze, add 200 ml of water, boil and take 150 ml. Drink in several times. It usually takes effect in 1 week.

Physical therapy

For patients with cervical hypertrophy, deep and extensive erosion involving the cervical canal, and/or suspected malignant changes, physical therapy can be selected. Common ones include:

1) Electric ironing

Use an electric iron to touch the eroded surface to coagulate the tissue and form a scab. The scab will begin to fall off after about two weeks, and it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for the wound to heal. The operation should be performed 3 to 5 days after the end of menstruation. Do not use if you have adnexitis. After treatment, leucorrhea may temporarily increase or cause bleeding. If there is a lot of bleeding, use sterile gauze to apply pressure to stop the bleeding and remove it after 24 hours. The disadvantage is that scar contraction may sometimes lead to cervical stenosis.

2) Cryotherapy

Use a liquid nitrogen rapid cooling device to place the probe on the eroded surface for 1 to 3 minutes, remove it after natural rewarming, and cause freezing necrosis of the diseased tissue. A lot of watery discharge may occur 2 to 3 weeks after treatment. The advantage is that bleeding and cervical stenosis occur less frequently.

3) Laser treatment

The laser carbonizes and forms scabs on the eroded tissue, and the healing process is the same as the previous two treatment methods.

1. Get enough rest and eat more fruits, vegetables and light food.

2. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene and vulva cleanliness to prevent inflammation.

3. Pay attention to hygiene during the postpartum period to avoid infection. Take good contraceptive measures and try to avoid mechanical damage to the cervix caused by multiple abortions. At the same time, gynecological surgery should be performed by experienced doctors, and the operation should be sterile and gentle to prevent iatrogenic infection and injury.

4. For chronic cervicitis, a cervical scraping should be done before treatment to rule out early cervical cancer.

5. Sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited during treatment. Stop applying topical medication during menstruation. During the treatment, spicy and greasy foods should be avoided to prevent the dampness and heat from lingering and causing recurrence of the disease.

6. Those who fail to recover after long-term treatment may receive surgical treatment if necessary.

The above content introduces us to the treatment methods of cervical hypertrophy. We should all know about it. Female friends should pay more attention to this knowledge. When female friends themselves have this problem, they should receive timely and effective treatment and get rid of the disease as soon as possible. We should not let cervical hypertrophy become our concern. Let all female friends live the happy and healthy life they want.
