What is the connection between ovulation period and safe period?

Recently I found that many of my female colleagues can’t distinguish between the ovulation period and the safe period. In fact, these are two completely different concepts, and they are also two different periods in the female physiological period. So let’s take a closer look at the relationship between the ovulation period and the safe period. What is the difference between them?

Generally speaking, the seven days before menstruation and eight days after menstruation are the safe period for adult women. The current term is 3 days before and 4 days after menstruation. Generally, for women who have always had regular menstrual cycles, ovulation may occur on the 14th day before the next menstrual period. After the egg is released, it can survive for about 2 to 5 days, and the sperm can survive for 1 to 3 days after entering the female reproductive tract. Therefore, it is easy to get pregnant by having sexual intercourse 5-7 days before ovulation and 4-6 days after ovulation. Other dates are relatively safe. Although theoretically the period just after menstruation is a safe period, because the first few days after menstruation are the safe period before ovulation, it is affected by many factors, which reduces its safety.

The period from the end of menstruation to the day before ovulation is the safe period before ovulation. From the first day after the end of ovulation to the day before the next menstrual cramps is the safe period after ovulation. The safe period after ovulation is safer than the safe period before ovulation. This is because some women sometimes affected by environmental changes and mood swings affect the advance of the ovulation, so before the safe period ovulation will be shortened, but did not know their own, so before the safety period ovulation is not safe.

After reading the above introduction, I believe everyone has a corresponding understanding of the ovulation period and the safe period. These are two different periods. There is a certain connection between them, but there are also strict differences. It is wise to have a detailed and in-depth understanding of these two periods based on your own physiological conditions and choose your own contraceptive method.
