Candida infection can greatly reduce women's quality of life, so it must attract the attention of our female compatriots. Below, I will introduce to you the treatment methods for gynecological candida infection?

Vulvovaginal candidiasis is mainly treated with local medication, and imidazole antifungal drugs are more effective than nystatin. After treatment with imidazole antifungal drugs, 80% to 90% of patients have disappeared symptoms and Candida culture is negative.

Rinse the vulva and vagina with 1.3% sodium bicarbonate solution or perfuse the vagina with 1:5000 gentian violet solution 1 to 2 times a day.

2. Nystatin suppository or imidazole antifungal suppository, such as clotrimazole, miconazole, econazole, butoconazole, one suppository every night, inserted deep into the vagina for 1 to 2 weeks.

3. For vulvitis, imidazole antifungal preparations can be applied externally, such as clotrimazole cream, miconazole cream, econazole cream, ketoconazole cream or bifonazole cream.

4. If the above treatment methods are ineffective, the following drugs can be taken orally: ① Ketoconazole, 400 mg per day for 5 days; ② Fluconazole 150 mg single dose orally once; ③ Itraconazole 200 mg, twice a day (one-day therapy) or 200 mg once a day for 3 consecutive days.

If you experience symptoms of candida infection, you should seek medical attention immediately and do not delay treatment. In addition, female compatriots should also pay attention to how to prevent Candida infection in daily life.
