How to treat amenorrhea caused by endocrine disorders

For us women, often our bad living habits such as staying up late and lack of sleep will cause a series of diseases. The most obvious one is endocrine disorders, which need to be slowly adjusted and cannot be made up for all at once. If not handled properly, it may also cause amenorrhea, which is not a small problem. Here I will introduce some knowledge about amenorrhea.

Western medicine divides amenorrhea into primary amenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea. Primary amenorrhea is caused by congenital abnormalities in the development of reproductive organs or acquired organic damage, and cannot be effectively treated with drugs. Amenorrhea is caused by the following reasons: systemic diseases, hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction or organic lesions, ovarian dysfunction or organic lesions, uterine, drug-induced, and other endocrine dysfunctions such as adrenal cortex dysfunction and thyroid dysfunction. In addition, hyperprolactinemia and polycystic ovary syndrome may also cause amenorrhea.

Causes of amenorrhea: Common causes include systemic diseases, such as anemia, nephritis, tuberculosis, endocrine disorders, ovarian abnormalities, sequelae of artificial abortion, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the causes of amenorrhea are diverse, such as blood loss, multiple births, sexual fatigue, excessive worry, depression, cold and dampness, etc. Its syndrome differentiation can be divided into two categories: "deficiency" and "excess".

When it comes to endocrine disorders, the guiding principle of Western medicine is of course to regulate the endocrine system so that it can be restored to balance. There will be different coping methods for different causes, symptoms, physical conditions and severity. Usually, the principle of inhibition and reduction is adopted for hyperfunction caused by excessive hormone secretion. Surgical removal of endocrine tumors or drugs can be used to inhibit hormone secretion and synthesis. The principle of treatment for disorders caused by insufficient hormone secretion is to supplement the deficiency, including physiological doses of hormones, organ transplantation, etc.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, endocrine disorders are a manifestation of Yin deficiency, which is caused by stagnation of Qi and blood. Blood stasis in the body, blocked blood vessels, invasion of external toxins, and retention of lochia after childbirth may all lead to blood stasis. Many common diseases in women are actually caused by endocrine disorders.

Endocrine disorders are a common disease among many women. If you find yourself with endocrine disorders, you must adjust them in time, otherwise it will cause some more serious symptoms that are difficult to deal with. Some more serious symptoms may cause tumors. Good living habits will add color to our lives.
