Tips for inverted nipples

Tips for inverted nipples

Nipple indentation refers to the nipple being sunken deep inside the breast. It is possible that the nipple is strangled by a tight bra during growth and development, affecting the growth and development of the nipple, or the breast may become inflamed and cause nipple indentation. So how to correct nipple indentations?

Way:

Bra correction method: dig a hole the size of the nipple in the center of the bra you are wearing, and then squeeze the nipple through the hole after putting on the bra to keep the nipple in a prominent position.

Massage correction method: Use your fingers to gently pull the indented nipples outward every morning, noon and evening, and gently massage the nipples while pulling to stimulate them. Do it twice a day, 10 minutes each time.

Adsorption method: Buy a nipple braceer, place the front end on the nipple of the chest, squeeze the rubber ball hard, use the principle of vacuum air pressure and the principle of skin traction band expansion to continuously stretch the retracted nipple.

The actual causes of acquired nipple indentations are:

1. Clothing is too tight. Especially for women during the period of breast development, wearing too tight bras can easily cause nipple indentations.

2. Improper use of bra. Bras that are too small, too tight, or used too early can all cause nipple indentations.

3. Nipple indentations are also related to genetic inheritance. Clinical medical observations show that if the mother or the mother's generation or grandmother has nipple indentations, the next generation is more likely to suffer from nipple indentations than ordinary people.

Nipple indentations are mainly congenital, but can also be caused by chemical fibrosis after trauma or surgical treatment, breast tumors and mastitis.

The actual causes of congenital nipple indentations are:

1. Hypoplasia of the nipple and its smooth muscles: The nipple has the opening of the lactiferous duct, and there are smooth muscle fibers around the lactiferous duct. The sunken nipple is stretched inward by the muscle tissue bundles that tightly surround the lactiferous duct and insert into the dermis of the nipple. The material of this muscle bundle is significantly different from that of the lactiferous ducts.

2. Hypoplasia of the lactiferous ducts themselves: Hypoplasia of the lactiferous ducts cannot be flexible and mainly manifest as cords.

3. The lack of support from supporting tissue under the nipple is also the cause of inverted nipple. The sooner inverted nipples are corrected, the better. In fact, most inverted nipples can be made prominent with some corrective measures.
