Third degree cervical erosion is not a disease

Cervical erosion is the most common type of gynecological disease and is the most common partial feature in the whole process of chronic uterine inflammatory disease. In clinical medicine, cervical erosion is divided into grades I, II, and III according to the size of the total area of cervical erosion, and can also be divided into mild, moderate, and severe grades.

Cervical erosion can be divided into three types based on its main manifestations: simple erosion is common in the early stage of inflammation, the erosion surface is covered by unilateral columnar epithelial cells, and the outer skin is relatively smooth and clean; if the inflammation persists, the cervical epithelial cells will proliferate excessively, the erosion surface will be uneven, and the appearance will be granular, which is granular erosion; if the glandular epithelium and stroma proliferate significantly, the unevenness will be more obvious, and it will be papillary, which is papillary erosion. These three types can exist independently or overlap and coexist.

The third degree of cervical erosion is the most serious level of cervical erosion, and the total area of erosion has exceeded 2/3 of the surface of the cervix; the third degree of cervical erosion leads to a greatly increased probability of infertility and lesions. Some women have raised this question: If cervical erosion is not treated, will the entire cervix rot? In fact, cervical erosion is not real erosion. This is because after suffering from chronic cervicitis, the existing inflammation in the superficial tissue of the cervix is not easy to be eliminated, the squamous epithelium on the surface of the cervix falls off due to hypofunction, and the peeling surface is gradually covered by columnar epithelial cells formed by endocervical hyperplasia. Because the columnar epithelium is very thin, the underlying blood vessels and red interstitial tissue can be seen, making the eroded surface red and having a clear boundary with the surrounding normal squamous epithelium.

What causes cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease. Many women have this trouble and are very surprised by the test results. So do you know how cervical erosion is caused? This article mainly analyzes the four main causes of cervical erosion.

1. The menstrual cycle is too long: We know that women experience uterine wall shedding every month. Under normal circumstances, it usually lasts for 4 to 7 days. If it exceeds this range, it can be considered that the menstrual cycle is too long. A menstrual cycle that is too long can cause abnormalities at the cervical exit, which in the long run may lead to cervical erosion.

2. Improper cleaning: Some women will use various cleaning fluids to clean their genitals. In fact, there are some substances in the vagina of women that can maintain the stability of the internal environment. If women use cleaning fluids to destroy these substances, it is likely to cause cervical erosion.

3. Excessive sexual intercourse: This will make it easy for foreign pathogens to enter the female body through the vagina, causing a series of diseases. I hope everyone will pay attention to control the degree. Don't reveal a woman's body just because of lust. Women themselves should also protect their own bodies.

4. Unclean sexual life: Generally speaking, it is recommended that men use condoms, otherwise it is very easy to bring external bacteria into the female body, causing cervical erosion in women. It is recommended that both parties do a good job of cleaning to avoid causing adverse effects on each other's bodies.

The above are the four main reasons. If you find any symptoms of cervical erosion, it is recommended to seek treatment in time.
