1. 2 liang of cassia seeds, 3 qian of fried hawthorn, 2 qian of tangerine peel, and 2 slices of licorice.

2. Bring six bowls of water to a boil, then simmer for three minutes on low heat and pour out immediately to prevent the medicinal juice from being absorbed by the residue.

3. Take one dose per day. If diarrhea occurs, take it every other day.

When taking this menstrual weight loss diet, you need to eat less sweets, fried foods and starch/fast four hours before going to bed/after you reach your ideal weight, you can maintain your weight loss by boiling Cassia seeds and barley tea together.

Dietary considerations for weight loss after menstruation:

1. Never eat midnight snacks and eat less snacks.

2. Eat all three meals (until you are 80% full), but don’t eat too much. And make sure to chew your food more and chew slowly to avoid eating too much food.

3. Eat less fried foods or sweets, as they are extremely high in calories.

4. Do not do strenuous exercise during the weight loss period (walking and bowling are allowed).

5. Although starchy foods such as rice, wheat, and flour are indispensable, they should be reduced as much as possible.

6. Reduce the amount of oil used when cooking food.
