How to relieve allergies to sanitary napkins

Sanitary napkins can be regarded as a must-have item for women, but due to improper use and other reasons, sanitary napkin allergies have led to many uncomfortable situations. So what should we do if sanitary napkins are allergic? How to solve it?

1. The main way to prevent sanitary napkin allergies is to avoid allergens:

If you feel any discomfort such as aerobic or irritating sensations, you should stop using the sanitary napkin immediately. It would be even better if you can find out the allergic ingredient. The most common allergic ingredient is the fragrance in the sanitary napkin. Do not use sanitary napkins containing the same ingredient.

2. Women with sensitive skin should not use dry mesh:

Choose sanitary napkins with cotton mesh surface. Although the dry mesh surface absorbs quickly, cotton is softer and more comfortable and causes less irritation to the skin. Especially in summer, allergies are more likely to occur. This is caused by local accumulation of moisture, so be sure to change it frequently.

3. Prevent sanitary napkin allergies:

It is recommended to change a sanitary napkin every two hours. Some women like to use sanitary noodles because they can't stand the odor of menstrual blood left on the sanitary napkin, but in fact, there is no odor when the menstrual blood just flows out, but after contacting the air, an oxidation reaction occurs, and several chemical substances are mixed together, which produces a bad smell.

4. It is recommended to choose products with good breathability:

And changing them frequently can effectively avoid sanitary napkin allergies. Dr. Ding Hui recommends that women should not eat high-fat and high-calorie foods during menstruation. They should eat mainly vegetables, fruits, and beans, and try to eat light foods to make the body feel refreshed.

5. Keep a certain distance from sanitary pads:

Although it is suitable for before and after menstruation and when traveling, it is a convenient and practical choice, but it should not be used frequently.

The structure of female genital skin is similar to that of lips. If the lips are damaged, the plastic surgeon can transplant genital skin. The best environment for the skin in these two parts is not too dry or too moist. Delicate skin needs a well-ventilated environment. If it is too closed, it will accumulate too much moisture, which will easily breed bacteria and cause health risks. It is recommended to wear high-weave cotton underwear, wash and change it frequently every day, and choose products with good breathability when using sanitary pads. In addition, if the vaginal discharge is excessive, yellow or bloody, or has an odor, it may be a symptom of a vaginal disease such as vaginitis, and you need to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.

6. Sterilized and bleached sanitary napkins are not sterile:

It is very difficult to achieve true sterility, and it is not necessary. Menstrual blood itself carries many microorganisms. According to research, each gram of menstrual blood contains about 108 microorganisms, which are not dangerous to the human body. Therefore, many sanitary napkin brands do not undergo special disinfection. As long as they meet national standards, do not contain pathogenic bacteria and the number of microorganisms is within the prescribed range, it is sufficient.

There are also some products on the market that have been sterilized. Most of the sterilization process uses a chemical gas called ethylene oxide, which needs to be stored for a period of time before it can be put on the market, otherwise the residual ethylene oxide will cause harm to the human body. If you want to avoid sanitary napkin allergies, you must pay attention to the selection and use of sanitary napkins. Choose the product that suits you and follow the correct usage to avoid adverse consequences caused by infection.
