Normal dogs took 300 mg/kg of HC-1 extract daily for 3 weeks. Except for occasional vomiting, there were no serious toxic reactions, and the liver and kidney function tests also showed normal.

[Functions and indications] Soothe wind and clear heat, reduce swelling and detoxify. Treat wind-heat cold, pneumonia, diphtheria, gastroenteritis: hypertension, furuncle, carbuncle, mouth ulcer, erysipelas, eczema, and impetigo.
