[Recipe] 1 eel (weighing about 250 grams), 15 grams each of Codonopsis pilosula and beef tendon, 10 grams of Chinese angelica, and appropriate amounts of cooking wine, scallion segments, ginger slices, and broth.

[Preparation and Usage] Soak the beef tendon in warm water, then tear off the fascia and cut into sections; wash and slice Codonopsis pilosula and Angelica sinensis, put them into a gauze bag and tie it up. Kill the eel, remove the internal organs, wash away the blood, remove the bones and head, cut the eel meat into strips, fry it in a pan until golden brown, and then remove it. Pour proper amount of broth into the pot, add tendons, eel meat, salt, medicine bag, cooking wine, onion and ginger, and cook until the meat and tendons are well-cooked. Pick out the medicine bag, onion and ginger and it is done.
