Where is the female liver located?

For everyone, the liver is one of the most important organs of the human body, and all toxins in the body need to be excreted through it. Many people only know that it is important, but they don't even know where it is, let alone what symptoms indicate that its health is threatened. The answers to these two questions are given below. Let’s learn them together.

Where is the liver located?

There is no difference in the position of the liver between genders. In other words, the position of the liver in women is the same as that in men. The liver is the largest actual internal organ in the body, most of it hidden in the right outer edge and deep surface of the hypochondrium, and a small part crosses the midline of the abdomen to the left upper abdomen. The right outer edge of the liver is level with the right flank edge, and the left outer edge can sometimes be touched under the xiphoid process, but it is generally at the midline of the abdomen and does not exceed the center of the line connecting the sternum and the navel. Actually, the left lateral lobe of the liver is mainly located on the left side of the abdomen, while the left inner lobe of the liver and the right half of the liver are located on the right side of the abdomen.

This symptom indicates liver failure

1. Fingernails: Fingernails feel bumpy. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the liver is responsible for the muscle fascia of the body. Therefore, once there is dirt in the liver, the fingernails will cause some changes. If the nails are dark in color, it means you are either anemic or have kidney problems. And if the fingernails are also uneven, it is mostly a malfunction of the liver.

2. Breast hyperplasia: After suffering from breast hyperplasia, female friends will experience breast pain before menstruation. The mammary gland is located in a key position along the liver meridian. If toxic substances accumulate in the liver meridian, it will cause breast hyperplasia.

3. Depression: The liver controls our mood. If there is dirt in the liver that cannot be discharged, it will affect the activity of Qi, and thus make our mood more and more depressed.

4. Getting drunk easily: Some people used to have very good blood flow and could drink several bottles of wine as if they had not drunk any. But now they get drunk after drinking a little bit. This shows that their liver function is damaged and they can no longer evaporate alcohol directly.
