How to calculate cup size

How to calculate cup size

For female friends, wearing a bra is indispensable. Wearing a suitable bra not only looks more beautiful, but also provides good protection for the breasts. On the contrary, wearing a bra of inappropriate size will cause the breasts to sag or even shrink. If you want to choose a suitable bra, you need to understand how to calculate the cup size. Once you have mastered the cup calculation method, when purchasing, you can ask for the appropriate size and choose the style you like.

Many female friends do not know what cup size they wear. They just say they wear size 32 or 34, but they do not know what cup size they wear. In fact, 32 or 34 refers to the bust, not the cup size. Each bust will have a different cup size. The following is how to calculate the cup size.

The cup size (actually refers to the "cup depth") is the difference between the upper bust circumference and the lower bust circumference.

Based on the measurement results, the cup size is determined by the difference between the bust size and the underbust size.

Bra cup classification (difference between upper and lower bust)

AA cup: within 7.5cm = upper bust minus lower bust

A cup: within 10.0cm

B cup: within 12.5cm

C cup: within 15.0cm

D cup: within 17.5cm

E cup: within 20.0cm

For example: your underbust is 79, which is size 80, and your upper bust is 92. Subtracting the two numbers is 13cm, which is cup B. Putting the two together, congratulations, the bra you should wear is size 80B.

If your bust is 87.5cm, your bust is 75, and the difference between your bust and upper bust is 12.5cm, then your cup size is B and you should choose size 75B.

The above introduces the specific method of how to calculate the cup size. I hope it can be inspiring to you. When buying a bra, don’t ask for a 32 or 34. This only refers to the bust. Non-standard merchants will just give you a cup size, but it may not be suitable for you. Once you have learned the calculation method, you can not only look at the bust, but also the cup size when buying, so that the bra you choose will be perfectly fit. It provides the best protection for the breasts.
