When is the safe period? Young women should remember

Many women who have not yet considered having children would like to know about their safe period, so that they do not need to take any contraceptive measures during the safe period. This can save trouble and enhance the satisfaction of both parties. However, many women do not know how to calculate the safe period. They ask: When is the safe period? Below, experts will introduce you to the relevant knowledge.

Nowadays, many young female friends use the safe period contraception method when having sex, but there are still many women who have no idea when the safe period is. Below, experts will answer this question for everyone. Let’s take a look.

When is the safe period for women?

From the perspective of contraception, each menstrual cycle of a woman can be divided into the menstrual period, ovulation period and safe period. Generally speaking, the ovaries of women of normal childbearing age release only one egg per month. The egg can survive 1 to 2 days after being released, and the sperm can survive 2 to 3 days in the female reproductive tract. The fertilization ability is mostly within 24 hours after ovulation. After 2 to 3 days, the sperm loses the ability to combine with the egg. Therefore, if you have sexual intercourse 2 to 3 days before ovulation and 1 to 2 days after ovulation, you may get pregnant. This period is called the fertile period or the dangerous period.

Calculation method of female safe period: Taking the 28-day menstrual cycle as an example, 3 to 5 days after the first menstruation can be called the "menstrual period", and the first stage of the safe period begins after it is clean. The two safe periods between menstrual cycles are separated by ovulation. Ovulation almost certainly occurs on the 14th day before your next period, 5 days earlier or 4 days later. This is also called the danger period.

Now, I believe that female friends have already understood when the safe period is. It should be noted that although the safe period can be calculated, female ovulation is affected by many factors and it is not fixed. Therefore, contraception during the safe period is actually not safe and has a higher contraceptive failure rate. Women must be cautious.
