The skin becomes dry in autumn. Doctors teach you some tips on moisturizing

The air is dry in autumn, and the skin is at risk of becoming tight, dry, and peeling. He Tianyi, a dermatologist at the Chao News Qianbao Health Station and the Nanxing Street Community Health Service Center in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, will teach you some practical skin care tips:

The first thing to do is to wash your face. Pay attention to controlling the time. Washing your face for a long time may drain the moisture from the skin. It is recommended to wash your face within 1 minute to fully clean the skin while avoiding excessive dryness.

Use a suitable facial cleanser. After a whole day of exposure and pollution, the skin needs to be cleansed at night. Using a facial cleanser can effectively remove dirt and oil on the skin, creating favorable conditions for the skin's self-repair and the formation of a new sebum film. In the morning, except for extremely oily skin, it is recommended to clean with water. Using a facial cleanser may damage the natural protective film established by the skin itself.

Reduce the frequency of using a face brush. Although a face brush has strong cleaning power, using it too frequently will cause friction to the delicate skin, causing the skin to become dry and lose elasticity. Therefore, in the autumn and winter seasons, it is recommended to reduce the frequency of using a face brush and use it about once a week.

Control the water temperature when washing your face. The temperature of the water for washing your face also has an important impact on the health of your skin. In autumn, it is best to control the water temperature at around 30-33℃ when washing your face. Washing your face with water at this temperature is not easy to damage the skin, and it also helps to keep the skin hydrated. Avoid using too hot water to wash your face, so as not to damage skin cells and accelerate moisture loss.

After bathing, the skin is in a relatively dry state. Applying moisturizing products at this time can help build a good skin barrier and prevent moisture loss. Especially for infants, the elderly, people with dry skin and people with eczema, it is recommended to apply moisturizing products within 3 minutes after bathing.

Drink plenty of water to replenish the body's moisture. In addition to using moisturizing skin care products, drinking plenty of water is also an important way to keep the skin hydrated. Drinking plenty of water can replenish the body with sufficient moisture, which helps to improve the condition of dry and tight skin. But please note that you should drink less water before going to bed to avoid eyelid swelling and increased nocturia.
