Hidden cracks in teeth are tiny cracks that occur on the surface of the crown and are difficult to see with the naked eye. Although the cracks on the surface of the crown are tiny, they can go deep into the dentin and even involve the pulp. When the cracks are confined to the enamel-dentin boundary, they can be treated by simply adjusting the occlusion, preparing the hole, and then performing preventive filling; but when the cracks reach the deep dentin and involve the pulp, simply adjusting the occlusion and preparing the hole can no longer solve the problem, and endodontic treatment and crown restoration, or even extraction of the affected tooth, are required. It can be seen that as the cracks deepen, not only will the various symptoms of hidden cracks in teeth become more severe, but the cost of treatment is also increasing, and the prognosis is getting worse. Therefore, early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment are of great importance. The purpose of this poster is to call on the public to pay attention to the early calls for help from teeth, pay attention to intermittent occlusal discomfort, seek medical treatment as soon as possible, detect hidden cracks in teeth as early as possible, minimize the various hazards caused by hidden cracks in teeth, and nip the danger in the bud!
