Beware of health risks before and after the college entrance examination

This article uses the artistic form of popular science stories to show the objective trend of younger and younger stroke incidence.

Li Ming is a senior high school student who is about to take the college entrance examination. He has always been a top student in his class with excellent grades, and his parents and teachers have high hopes for him. He also set a high goal for himself and wanted to be admitted to the Peking University School of Medicine to study clinical medicine (eight-year system).

In order to realize his dream, Li Ming went out early and came back late every day, studied hard, and had almost no time for rest and entertainment. In order to save time, his diet was irregular, and he often ate instant noodles, biscuits, potato chips and other snacks to fill his stomach; he drank coffee, cola and other stimulating drinks to boost his spirits. His physical condition was getting worse and worse, and he often felt dizzy, chest tightness, palpitations and other discomforts, but he resisted going to see a doctor for fear of delaying his studies.

One night, a week before the college entrance exam, Li Ming was reviewing math when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest, as if a knife was stabbing his heart. He wanted to scream, but no sound came out. He touched his cell phone, wanting to call his parents or classmates for help, but found that the phone was out of battery. He felt helpless and terrified, and everything was dark before his eyes.

The next morning, Li Ming's parents found that their son had not yet gotten up. They thought he was too tired from studying the night before, so they went to wake him up. They found him lying motionless in bed, pale, and breathing weakly. They panicked and immediately called 120 emergency number and notified Li Ming's class teacher and classmates.

Li Ming was sent to the hospital's emergency room, where he was diagnosed with myocardial infarction caused by coronary heart disease. The doctor said this is a serious cardiovascular disease that can lead to death or permanent disability if not treated in time. The doctor said Li Ming's coronary heart disease may be caused by long-term overwork, excessive stress, and unhealthy diet. The doctor said Li Ming needed immediate surgery and long-term rehabilitation treatment after the surgery.

Li Ming's parents were heartbroken after hearing what the doctor said. They blamed themselves for not taking good care of their son physically and mentally, and for putting too much pressure and expectation on him. They also regretted not reminding their son to pay attention to his physical condition and not seeking medical treatment in time. They could only pray that their son would be able to get through this difficult time safely.

Li Ming's class teacher and classmates were also shocked and sad. They all knew that Li Ming was a diligent and studious student with excellent character and academic performance, and he was full of confidence and longing for the college entrance examination. They all felt that this was an unfortunate accident, perhaps a trick of fate. They all prayed for Li Ming, hoping that he would recover soon and return to school.

Li Ming had a successful operation and regained consciousness. He saw the concerned eyes of his parents, teachers and classmates, and felt warm and touched. He also realized his mistake and knew that health is more important than anything else, and he should not sacrifice his body and mind for the sake of studying. He decided to give up taking the college entrance examination this year, take a good rest for a while, and try again next year.

Li Ming's parents, teachers and classmates all respected his choice and gave him the greatest support and encouragement. They all hoped that Li Ming could regain his dreams and beliefs and live and study healthily.

This story tells us that cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases not only endanger life, but also affect people's achievement of established goals and development prospects. In order to prevent and reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, we should pay attention to maintaining a good attitude, reduce stress, develop healthy living habits, have regular physical examinations, and promptly detect and treat potential cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. At the same time, we should also care for and support those around us who are at risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases or have already suffered from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and give them more love and help.
