Huawei: As of Q1 2024, Huawei's global cumulative router shipments have exceeded 100 million units

Huawei's official Weibo account announced that as of the first quarter of 2024, Huawei's global cumulative router shipments have exceeded 100 million units. It has been nearly ten years since Huawei released its first home router in 2015. Ten years is not long, it is almost a blink of an eye; ten years is not short either. During this period, Huawei has embarked on a road of struggle from catching up to surpassing and then leading with its tireless spirit of exploration and perseverance.

Long-term strategic vision and outstanding technological innovation capabilities

This milestone achievement not only demonstrates Huawei's leadership in the router market, but also is a strong proof of its technological innovation and product R&D capabilities. In fact, Huawei started its R&D journey much earlier, having invested in router chips as early as 2003.

Looking back at the history of Huawei routers exceeding 100 million shipments, it is not difficult to find that the continuous innovation of technology has promoted the continuous iteration and upgrading of products, leaving behind one impressive achievement after another: from the launch of Huawei Router Q1 with its industry-first parent-child router form, to the subsequent Q series' continuous optimization for the actual situation of reinforced concrete walls in domestic residences, it has always focused on the research and development and upgrading of PLC technology. Until Q6 was equipped with the patented Lingxiao PLC technology, it provided a practical solution to the network coverage problem of various types of households.

The AX series and BE series have always been at the forefront of Wi-Fi technology iteration: the Huawei router AX3 series became a hit after its launch, and helped push the cumulative shipments to exceed 50 million; and the Huawei router BE3 Pro series, which will be released at the end of 2023, has become the first Wi-Fi 7 router under 500 yuan by virtue of Huawei's contribution to Wi-Fi 7 standard patents, ranking first in the world, which is of great significance to the popularization of Wi-Fi technology.

Every Huawei router product is constantly breaking through technological barriers and building brand influence step by step. Now the shipment volume has exceeded 100 million, which is the best annotation of the unremitting efforts over the years.
