IDC: China's cumulative mobile phone shipments in Q4 2023 will be about 73.63 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%

According to recent news, the well-known data company IDC released the Q4 2023 China mobile phone market tracking report. Huawei replaced Xiaomi and successfully entered the top five, ranking fourth with a share of 13.9%. It is also the only brand among the top five with positive growth.

The report shows that China's cumulative mobile phone shipments in Q4 2023 were approximately 73.63 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%, marking the first positive growth after 10 consecutive quarters of year-on-year decline.

The biggest change in this quarter is that Huawei's market share reached 13.9%, not only successfully ranking among the top 5, but also surpassing OPPO to rank fourth; while Xiaomi fell out of the top 5 and became "others".

In terms of specific rankings, Apple ranked first with a market share of 20%, and its market share decreased by 2.1% year-on-year; Honor's market share was 16.8%, a slight decrease of 0.9%, ranking second.

vivo's market share fell by 8.4% to 15.7%, ranking third; Huawei was the only brand among the top five that achieved positive growth , with an increase of 36.2%, ranking fourth with a market share of 13.9%; OPPO ranked fifth with a market share falling by 16.1% to 13.7%.

In comparison, the top five mobile phone brands in Q4 2022 were: Apple (20.6%), vivo (17.5), Honor (17.1%), OPPO (15.6%), and Xiaomi (11.6%).
