Recently, according to the latest report released by market research firm IDC, global tablet shipments in the first quarter of 2023 were 30.7 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 19.1%. The agency believes that shipments have returned to pre-pandemic levels, with tablet shipments of 31.6 million units in the first quarter of 2018 and 30.1 million units in the first quarter of 2019. The report pointed out that Chromebook shipments were 3.8 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 31%.
