Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data shows that in September 2022, Douyin and its overseas version TikTok earned more than $315 million in the global App Store and Google Play, 1.7 times the same period last year, and continued to top the global mobile application (non-game) revenue list. Among them, about 49.2% of the revenue came from the Chinese version of Douyin; the US market ranked second, contributing 16.6% of the revenue; the Japanese market ranked third, accounting for 3.4%. YouTube ranked second on the list with revenue of nearly $130 million, up 20.9% from the same period last year. 37% of the revenue came from the US market, while Japan ranked second with 17.6%. The other three apps in the top five of the list are Google One, Tinder and Disney+. Thanks to the exclusive online broadcast of "The Invitation", iQiyi's mobile revenue in September exceeded US$54 million, a month-on-month increase of nearly 8%, ranking third in terms of revenue this year. |
