Analyst: Apple's revenue in Q2 2022 is expected to be $94 billion, and the average selling price of iPhone is $878

Apple has announced on its official website that its second quarter financial report for fiscal year 2022 will be released on April 28, local time, which is the early morning of April 29, Beijing time. For Apple's fiscal quarter ending at the end of March, some analysts expect revenue to reach $94 billion, driven by Mac and iPhone 13, higher than the average estimate of $90 billion by Wall Street analysts, and will be Apple's best second quarter so far.

Specifically, in terms of iPhone, analysts expect that global shipments in the second fiscal quarter will increase by 10% year-on-year, driven by continued strong demand for iPhone 13, and the average selling price will increase to US$878 from the previously estimated US$848.

On the Mac side, analysts expect shipments to reach 7.2 million units in the second fiscal quarter, a year-on-year increase of 5%, higher than the previous forecast of 6 million units, and revenue to reach US$9.5 billion.

In terms of revenue from Apple's other product lines, analysts expect iPad revenue to be $7.1 billion in the second fiscal quarter, wearable devices, smart home and accessories revenue to be $9.1 billion, and service business revenue to be $19.7 billion.

In Apple's second fiscal quarter of fiscal 2021, the iPhone contributed $47.9 billion in revenue, the Mac product line contributed $9.1 billion in revenue, the iPad contributed $7.8 billion in revenue, the service business contributed $16.9 billion in revenue, and wearable devices and other products contributed $7.8 billion in revenue.

As for whether this year's second fiscal quarter will be the second fiscal quarter with the highest revenue in Apple's history, it will only be revealed after the financial report is officially released. At present, it is just analysts' expectations.
