McAfee: Malware on Android devices grew 1,200% in Q1 2012

Antivirus software company McAfee reported that Android malware grew 1,200% in the first quarter of 2012. The company intercepted 8,000 mobile malware last month, many of which were mainly targeted at Android. App stores including Google Store are working hard to avoid these malware. Malware mainly includes malicious software running in the background of mobile phones, automatic dialing of expensive phone numbers, and SMS mass-sending malware.

The report also said that a destructive Android Trojan horse was discovered this quarter that does not damage applications or executable files, but searches for user pictures and adds Ayatollah Khomeini to each picture.
