More than half of QR codes appear on product packaging. 89% of users scan QR codes to get discounts. 68% use iPhones to scan QR codes. The main commercial applications of QR codes include: product information, discounts, social media, real estate information, mobile payments, e-vouchers, App downloads, etc. Currently, Japan is the country that uses QR codes the most, followed by the United States.
