Mobile marketing platform Fiksu recently analyzed its monthly tracking data and pointed out (Note: the platform data is taken from 2.7 billion visits by users to mobile applications, including operation, registration, IAP consumption behavior, etc.) that the top 200 free iPhone applications in the US Apple App Store were downloaded 4.25 million times in July this year, 4.51 million times in June, and 3.78 million times in May. The survey also found that the cost of acquiring each loyal user (note: users who visit the app at least three times after downloading it) was $1.2 in July, $1.27 in June, and $1.1 in May. Fiksu believes that the decline in user acquisition costs in July may be related to Apple's restrictions on non-natural downloads on iOS, which will help publishers obtain higher loyal user conversion rates at a lower cost.
