As a woman, do you have sufficient control over your sexual organs? The female genitals include the vulva and vagina, and the exposed part of the male reproductive organs, also known as the private parts. You know, this is a secret and important part of women. If you don't take good care of it, it is easy to cause private infection, such as vulvar itching, vaginitis and so on. If you want to care for it better, of course you need to know what it looks like. Next, I will introduce detailed photos of female vulva and methods of cleaning vulva for your reference.

What does a woman's vulva look like?

The female genitals are divided into the vulva and the vagina, and the exposed part of the male reproductive organ is also called the private parts.

Female vulva - private parts (female external reproductive organs)

The female reproductive organ refers to the exposed part of the male reproductive organ, also known as the private parts. Including the mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, vestibular function, Bartholin's glands, vestibular bulbs, urethral orifice, vulva and ruptured hymen.

Female vulva - inside the vagina

The vagina is a muscular tube composed of mucosa, muscle layer and outer membrane. It is flexible and connects the uterus and reproductive organs. It is the female's sexual organ and also the tube for expelling menstruation and delivering the baby. The vagina is often in a collapsed state where the front, back, left and right walls touch each other.

How should women clean their vulva?

In fact, for healthy women (ie without genital inflammation) to clean the vagina, they only need to remove the sweat, sebaceous glands, vaginal secretions, urine and feces accumulated on the surface of the vulva skin. There is no need to make a fuss.

The principle of vaginal cleanliness should be: to maintain the natural defense of the female reproductive system, not to destroy the biological diversity of the female vagina, and not to allow external pathogens to enter the vagina. Generally speaking, pay special attention to the following:

1. Gently wash the vulva with warm water every night. If you must use soap, choose a less irritating baby soap.

2. When cleaning, do not use alkaline soaps or compounds such as potassium permanganate solution to avoid changing the normal acid-base environment in the vagina.

3. Do not use sanitary napkins on a regular basis to avoid increasing friction and irritation to the vulvar skin, causing local accumulation of cold and dampness and resulting in vulvar inflammation.

4. During menstruation, wash your private parts frequently with warm water and change sanitary napkins frequently to prevent blood stains from becoming a culture medium for bacteria. It is best to put the whole pack of sanitary napkins in the microwave and heat it for 1 to 2 minutes to disinfect and sterilize.

5. Prepare your own special cleaning basin and special cotton towel. The cleaning basin should be cleaned before use, and the cotton towel should be dried or dried in a cool place after use, because the cotton towel cannot see the sun for a long time, it is easy to breed bacteria and fungi.

6. Pregnant women should not use any vaginal cleansers. Because the mother's body has a male sperm, the overall immune ability is reduced, and candidal vaginitis often occurs. If you get candidal vaginitis, you should use special drugs for the treatment of candidal vaginitis for pregnant women.

7. After defecation, develop the habit of wiping from front to back with toilet paper, and clean or wash the anus with warm water. If it is not wiped clean, fecal stains will remain in the anus and contaminate the underwear. The intestinal bacteria contained in the fecal stains will take the opportunity to enter the vagina and cause inflammation. Therefore, you should clean your vagina at least twice a day, once for basic cleaning at night and once after defecation.
