Therefore, wrong concepts and unhealthy lifestyles have become "invisible killers."

Stroke is preventable and treatable

We must correct wrong ideas and unhealthy lifestyles, and consciously avoid risk factors for stroke. After a stroke occurs, effective treatment measures including thrombolytic therapy within 3 hours can save some brain tissue that has not yet necrotized, greatly improve the patient's prognosis, reduce mortality and disability rates, and some patients can fully recover without any sequelae. However, in my country, less than 2% of patients can reach the hospital in time and receive thrombolytic therapy.

The earlier you start preventing stroke, the better.

Establish a healthy lifestyle and behavior to prevent stroke as early as possible. Because the pathological changes of arteriosclerosis often begin in childhood and gradually worsen with age, which is mainly related to excessive fat content in food and high-sugar diet leading to obesity. Hyperlipidemia and obesity are the main causes of arteriosclerosis. From an early age, properly control the intake of high-cholesterol and high-sugar foods, eat more fruits and vegetables; develop the habit of not being picky eaters and not overeating; actively participate in various sports and develop good living habits, which are extremely beneficial to a person's health throughout his life.
