Tips for Diabetes Massage

Traditional Chinese medicine calls diabetes "xiaoke" and believes that its main cause is yin deficiency and dryness and heat, and the affected organs mainly involve the lungs, spleen, and kidneys, especially the kidneys. As diabetes progresses, various complications will occur, seriously affecting the patient's quality of life and bringing multiple blows to the patient financially, physically, and mentally.

People often ask what simple and easy-to-learn movements can prevent and treat diabetes. Here is a massage method recommended to everyone. Doing this movement regularly can benefit the kidneys and strengthen qi, strengthen the spleen and stomach, and promote blood circulation, thereby increasing insulin secretion, accelerating the use of glucose, and improving microcirculation. It has a positive effect on preventing complications of diabetes and alleviating symptoms such as numbness and coldness of the hands and feet, fatigue, back pain, abdominal distension and difficulty in digestion after eating. It is also suitable for prevention in high-risk groups of diabetes with a family history of diabetes and impaired glucose tolerance. The specific operation method is as follows:

Make fists with both hands, and use the metacarpophalangeal joints of the index fingers to rub the spleen point, stomach point, triple burner point, and kidney point (located 1.5 inches below the eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, and fourteenth vertebrae respectively, away from the spine), for 30 seconds each point.
