Then rotate the rubber seat to adjust the height. When adjusting, you need to close the cover and observe several times. The travel of the rubber seat may not be absolutely accurate and the shape of the cover cannot be guaranteed to be completely symmetrical, so you can only find a relatively suitable point.

Generally, after adjustment, the height difference of the gaps on both sides will be more uniform and can be reduced. If there is still a gap, it is necessary to adjust the fixed anchor point of the hood or the fixed point of the fender.

The position of the hood connecting arm can be slightly adjusted or the hole can be enlarged. If the seam with the bumper is too large, it can be moved forward appropriately. However, this operation requires professional tools and professional techniques, and it is not recommended for individuals to attempt it.

The front fender is usually fixed with screws and can be removed. After loosening the screws, the front, rear, up and down position can be slightly adjusted, which is also very helpful for correcting the gap.

There are roughly several ways to repair gaps in car hoods. They are not difficult and do not require high technical content. If you need to enlarge the holes or remove the screws, try to spray some rust inhibitor after reinstalling to prevent damage to the paint surface and rust.
