The density of gasoline is about 0.7-0.8, which means it weighs about 30 to 40 kilograms. This has little effect on reducing fuel consumption for a car. If you have to take a detour when refueling, the fuel saved by half a tank may not be enough to make the detour.

Therefore, there is not much to pay attention to when to refuel. It is recommended to fill up before the indicator light comes on or when there is about a quarter of the tank left. Instead of worrying about these, it is better to see which gas station has good oil products, pay attention to whether there are any discounts in the near future, etc. It is recommended to fill up the tank all at once.

The dangers of overfilling the fuel tank

When the tank is overfilled, some gasoline will overflow from the vents. Gasoline is highly volatile, and if it encounters an open flame (perhaps an unextinguished cigarette butt), it will cause a fire.

3. Causes unsmooth driving
