What causes cervical ectropion?

Many women have never known about gynecological diseases such as cervical ectropion. The symptoms of cervical ectropion are not obvious. Female patients do not have obvious pain after the onset of the disease. They always have excessive leucorrhea and mucous secretions. Therefore, many women think that this disease is not serious. However, improper treatment of cervical ectropion may lead to infertility. So what causes cervical ectropion?

Causes of cervical ectropion: 1. Ectropion of the cervical canal. Many women experience varying degrees of cervical tearing during the natural delivery process, which may be on both sides or on one side or in other forms. If there is no immediate surgical repair after the tear, these tissues will have scar muscle atrophy, leading to cervical ectropion. 2. Columnar epithelial cells are everted. When the laceration of the cervix is wider, it is likely to cause the columnar epithelial cells to evert, at which time it is easy for bacteria to invade, leading to cervical infection. If the inflammation is not treated in time, it will continue to spread to the cervical canal, causing the patient to suffer from cervicitis and endometritis, and aggravate the degree of cervical ectropion.

For severe cases of lacerations and old cervical ectropion with mucosal ectropion, cervical repair is generally required during treatment. If the symptom level is severe, cervical removal or total hysterectomy may also be required.

Most women with cervical ectropion have varying degrees of bacterial infection. At this time, antibiotics should be used first to control the infection level, commonly including cephalosporins. Of course, you can also use some Chinese herbal medicines with the effect of clearing heat and removing fire appropriately to carry out private parts fumigation. At the same time, you can take some Chinese herbal medicines with the effect of clearing heat and dampness and strengthening the spleen and invigorating qi.
