Will I have premature birth if I have a grade 2 placenta at 31 weeks?

Will I have premature birth if I have a grade 2 placenta at 31 weeks?

After a woman becomes pregnant, the embryo will gradually appear after the fetus gradually takes shape. The embryo of the fetus has the function of providing nutrients and oxygen transfer to the fetus. Generally speaking, embryos can be divided into four levels according to their maturity, namely level 0, level 1, level 2 and level 3. The four levels of embryos have different absorbency. Level 1 embryos have the strongest absorbency, and level 2 embryos have slightly lower absorbency than level 1. However, there is no need to worry about the nutrition and CO2 issues of the fetus for level 2 embryos.

Will a grade 2 embryo at 31 weeks result in a premature baby? Each level of the embryo corresponds to a different number of weeks of pregnancy. Generally, before 28 weeks of pregnancy, it belongs to level 0, at which time the embryo is not yet mature and its absorption capacity is relatively weak; from 29 to 36 weeks of pregnancy, it belongs to level 1, at which time the embryo is basically complete and its absorption capacity is the best among the four levels; from 37 to 40 weeks of pregnancy, it belongs to level 2, at which time the embryo is relatively complete and its absorption capacity begins to decline; more than 40 weeks of pregnancy, it belongs to level 3, at which time the embryo is complete and has begun to age, its absorption capacity is gone, and it can no longer provide nutrition and oxygen to the fetus, and there is a possibility of premature birth.

Normally, the placenta maturity at 31 weeks of pregnancy should be level 1. Of course, if the pregnant woman takes too much calcium during pregnancy, it may also cause the embryo to mature prematurely. In other words, a grade 2 embryo at 31 weeks of pregnancy is also normal. Pregnant women should not worry first. As long as the maturity of the embryo does not deteriorate, there is no need to worry that the fetus will be born prematurely.

Generally speaking, a fetus is considered full-term at more than 37 weeks of pregnancy, and the fetus at this time may be born at any time. Generally speaking, premature babies are born prematurely due to external factors that cause the fetus to move, while the embryo is an internal factor. In other words, if the embryo does reach level 3 before the fetus is full-term, then for the safety of the fetus and the pregnant woman, the fetus must be removed even if a caesarean section is performed.
