Bleeding and lower abdominal pain after menstruation

The material of polyps is brittle and will bleed when touched, so couples will bleed after sexual intercourse. This type of bleeding is usually bright red.

5. Pelvic inflammatory disease: Inflammation of the pelvis can cause pelvic congestion. If the uterine wall is hematomatous and edematous, sexual intercourse may cause the hematomatous endometrium to bleed.

6. Wearing an intrauterine ring: Women who use an intrauterine ring for contraception may sometimes experience bleeding during sexual intercourse. Its reflexive compression can cause partial damage, necrosis and ulcers of the uterine wall, and there is a possibility of bleeding. In this case, the stimulation of sexual intercourse can cause bleeding.

7. Postmenopausal women: Due to the lack of estrogen, women after menopause are prone to senile vaginitis. At this time, the vaginal mucosa becomes soft and may be damaged during intercourse, causing bleeding.

8. Cervical cancer: Bleeding after sexual intercourse is the earliest symptom. Because cancer cells are small, have more blood vessels, and are more sensitive, the capillaries will rupture and bleed after each sexual intercourse. As the cancer progresses, it becomes more likely to bleed.

9. Primary vaginal cancer: Because the tumor cell tissue is more sensitive, the initial symptom is only bleeding during sexual intercourse.

10. Endometriosis: Some endometriosis grows and develops in the cervix and appears as a purple-blue mass. If a couple encounters this kind of purple-blue disordered nodule during sexual intercourse, it will cause bleeding. The bleeding is usually small in amount and dark red in color, and couples will always experience abdominal pain after sexual intercourse.
