Extremely heavy menstrual flow

Extremely heavy menstrual flow

Some girls feel that their menstruation seems to be endless. Normal menstrual bleeding should be 20-60ml, and more than 80ml is considered menorrhagia. Based on the usage of sanitary napkins, the normal usage is to change them four or five times a day on average, and each cycle does not exceed a few packs (10 pieces per bag). If 3 packs of sanitary napkins are not enough, and almost one sanitary napkin is wet, it means that the menstrual flow is too heavy.

Heavy menstrual flow with blood clots

What are the symptoms of heavy menstrual flow with blood clots? Generally speaking, women's menstrual cycle is 28 to 30 days. There are also a small number of people whose menstrual periods are slightly different, but as long as there is a certain periodicity, it is still a normal menstrual period. The normal menstrual volume is about 5b250l, often fluctuating between 3b250l and 6b250l. The color of menstruation is dark red, and the blood is stained with small fragments of uterine wall, cervical mucosa, and squamous epithelial cells in the vagina.

Heavy menstrual flow means that the menstrual volume exceeds 6 ml, and the daily menstrual volume reaches 60-8 ml or even 100 ml.

Calculated based on the number of times sanitary napkins are replaced, it is normal to change 4-6 sanitary napkins a day and no more than a few packs in each cycle. If using three packs of sanitary napkins each time is not enough and one sanitary napkin is completely wet, it means that the menstrual flow is too heavy.

The main components of normal menstruation are blood, uterine wall debris, microbial factors and various active enzymes. Menstrual blood is generally dark red, non-coagulated, and contains cervical mucus and squamous epithelial cells in the vagina. Month often called liquid. It is the dissolution and hydrolysis of free fatty acids during menstruation that prevents them from coagulating. But sometimes small clots fall out during menstruation, which are blood clots. It is very common to have blood clots during menstruation, and it is very normal. However, the blood clots are light purple and close to gray-black mucous fluid, or liver-colored lumps. Most people describe them as lumps of pig blood. This means that the menstrual period is abnormal, which is often accompanied by heavy menstrual flow.
