On which day of menstruation is frozen embryo transfer performed

Frozen embryos are the only way in the world to perfectly store fertility. This technology is to store the test tube embryos obtained through in vitro fertilization technology in a liquid nitrogen environment at minus 196°C for long-term storage. On which day of the menstrual period should frozen embryo transfer be performed?

Frozen embryos, which we call frozen embryos, include two types. One is the test tube embryo in the black mulberry stage on the third day, and the other is the embryo on the 5th and 6th day. Their transplantation time is also different. What about frozen embryo transfer? If it is a morula on the first to third day, it is usually transplanted 3 days after ovulation. If it is a blastocyst, it is transplanted on the 5th day after ovulation.

Because the plans for transplantation are different, some are natural cycles and some are artificial cycles. Therefore, the actual time of transplantation is specific and not fixed. Therefore, you cannot judge by the day of the menstrual period when the transplantation is performed. It depends on your specific situation.

During the in vitro fertilization treatment of infertile patients, ovulation-inducing drugs are generally used to stimulate the number of perfect oocytes, which can usually make the ovaries grow more than ten oocytes at a time. But in fact, in each in vitro fertilization treatment, only 1-3 test tubes can be transplanted back into the uterus. Embrying too many IVF embryos may increase the risk of twins, so the remaining IVF embryos can be frozen and stored. If the treatment cycle is unsuccessful, the stored test tube embryos can be transplanted back to the pregnant mother in the next natural ovulation cycle or hormone replacement cycle, without the need for super ovulation, which not only avoids the pain of injection but also saves a lot of costs.
