How long does it take for menstruation to be considered normal?

The first day of bleeding (i.e. menstruation) is called the beginning of the menstrual cycle, and the time interval between the first days of two menstrual periods is called a menstrual cycle, which is generally 28 to 30 days, which is similar to the time of a lunar month. The length of the cycle varies from person to person. Occasionally, it can be early or late by no more than 7 days and can still be considered normal. That is, the menstrual cycle cannot be less than 21 days and cannot exceed 35 days. Menstruation will stop during pregnancy and lactation.

Menstrual blood color refers to the color of menstrual blood. Menstrual blood is generally dark red, and is lighter in color at first, then gradually becomes heavier, and finally turns dark red and clear. In addition to blood, there are also fragments of uterine wall, cervical mucus and squamous epithelial cells in the vagina. The main characteristic of menstrual blood is not coagulation, but under normal circumstances, there are sometimes small clots.

Menstrual quality refers to the properties of menstrual blood. Under normal circumstances, the menstrual quality is neither thin nor thick, is not easy to coagulate, has no obvious blood clots, and has no special smell. Pathological changes in menstrual content are not only common menstrual symptoms, but also an important part of clinical medical dialectics. By understanding the changes in meridians, important diagnostic data can be provided for clinical medicine. When women have their first menstruation, the menstrual discharge is thick or sticky, which is called "thick menstrual discharge".

Generally speaking, it is normal for adult women to have a period of 21-35 days. If it exceeds this period, it is considered abnormal and they need to go to the hospital for medical treatment in time. For girls in adolescence, since the menstrual axis is not yet fully formed, the interval range is relatively large, and it is common to be between 21-45 days.

How much menstruation is a day? Everything is normal

Generally, 30mL of menstrual flow is too little, and 180mL is too much. The normal amount should be 60mL each time. This requires us to pay attention to the demand for sanitary napkins on a regular basis, and each cycle should not exceed a few packs. If three packs of sanitary napkins are not enough each time and one sanitary napkin is completely wet, it means that the menstrual flow is too heavy; on the contrary, if one pack is not used up every time during menstruation, it means that the menstrual flow is too light and you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

Generally, 3-5 sanitary napkins are needed per day. The frequency of changing sanitary napkins varies from person to person. If the amount of blood exceeds five to eight pieces, a physical examination in the hospital is required. Don't worry, relax, you don't have any other uncomfortable symptoms now. There is no specific requirement for this situation now. Everyone's physical fitness and menstrual volume are different. You must pay more attention to rest and don't do anything stimulating.
