What causes irregular menstrual bleeding?

Non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina is a common symptom in clinical medicine. It must be taken seriously and medical treatment should be sought immediately to the hospital to treat cervical diseases, uterine wall diseases, and uterine and ovarian diseases. Generally, a gynecological examination is required, and a speculum is used to expand the vaginal wall and observe the condition of the cervix in the vagina. If cervical polyps cause bleeding, cervical polypectomy and cervical TCT and HPV tests should be performed to eliminate cervical precancerous lesions and even cervical cancer. In addition, B-ultrasound examination should be performed to observe the condition of the uterine wall and to rule out irregular vaginal bleeding caused by intrauterine diseases such as uterine polyps and submucosal uterine fibroids. In addition, HCG in blood and urine should be tested to rule out abnormalities such as pregnancy or even ectopic pregnancy. In addition, B-ultrasound examination should be performed to check for abnormal bleeding caused by pelvic masses.

Irregular vaginal bleeding during non-menstrual periods must be considered abnormal, but irregular vaginal bleeding depends on the age at which it occurs. If an older person has irregular vaginal bleeding, you should think of a disease called atypical hyperplasia of the uterine wall or endometrial cancer. You should go to the hospital outpatient department immediately for a hysteroscopy and take a pathology test to see what problems there are and then receive symptomatic treatment.

If a young woman has repeated irregular vaginal bleeding, in addition to eliminating cervical lesions, it is necessary to consider whether there is a problem of uterine intrauterine polyps or submucosal uterine fibroids. Women who have undergone cesarean section may have problems with incisional diverticulum. Some patients may also take a lot of medicines, such as some Chinese herbal medicines for treating endocrine disease, and some medicines, which have the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and may also cause irregular vaginal bleeding.

There are many reasons for irregular bleeding outside of menstruation. If it is bleeding during sexual intercourse, it may be a disease of the cervix. If irregular bleeding occurs when it is not during menstruation, it may be due to uterine or ovarian tumors, uterine intrauterine polyps, uterine gland disease, uterine mucosa and uterine fibroids, or cervical polyps. If you bleed in the middle of your period, and it lasts for 3-5 days without any bleeding, it may be ovulation bleeding.
