Can a girl with myopia serve in the military?

Because our country has a large population, not everyone needs to join the army. Every year, recruiters go to every village to post notices, and those who are interested in joining the army can apply on their own. Generally, anyone who is 18 years of legal age can join the army. The standards for joining the army are not high, as long as you do not have any illness during the routine physical examination. There are no high requirements for height and weight, as long as you are not too thin or too fat.

So can people with myopia join the army? We all know that in modern society, there are more and more people with myopia, and relatively fewer people without myopia. Although we have never served in the army, we have seen on TV that soldiers are all brave and dreamy, and they don't wear glasses. Not wearing glasses does not mean that you are not nearsighted, because there is a type of myopia glasses called contact lenses, which can not only ensure your eyesight, but also make you unable to see the frames.

Now many people go to colleges and universities to recruit soldiers, and there are a large number of myopic people in colleges and universities. Maybe there were very strict requirements on eyesight when joining the army before. After all, you had to go to the battlefield to kill monsters with real guns and bullets. How could you see the opponent and the target accurately if you had poor eyesight? But it is different now. Now is the civilized era. It is no longer necessary for anyone to hold a gun and go out to kill monsters. Now more attention is paid to network technology. People who have studied in colleges and universities are more studious and inquisitive. The purpose of recruiting here is to cultivate a group of brain-intensive talents.

In other words, people with myopia can join the army, both boys and girls, if you meet the requirements of our country, you can join the army. Those who are not nearsighted can practice shooting, and those who are nearsighted can train in other areas. Joining the army now is not what it used to be. Defending the motherland does not just require holding a gun. Moreover, our country's military is divided into civilian soldiers and military soldiers. The civilian soldiers can manage logistics, offer suggestions, and lead the overall situation.

So, can a boy with myopia join the army? The answer is yes. In fact, after wearing contact lenses, myopic people can still do everything the same as people without myopia. Myopia does not mean blindness. People with myopia can still defend the motherland by joining the army. In fact, if we look carefully enough, we will find that many high-ranking soldiers wear glasses. In other words, the requirements for joining the army today are no longer about eye vision. If you meet the requirements of our country, you can still join the army even if you are nearsighted.
